It blows my mind how many women still think the scale is the biggest sign of progress…. 🫠

I am the exact same weight in both of these photos, actually slightly heavier on the right. Yet the shape of my body, the definition, the overall look is completely different. 🤯

This is why I always say your focus should be on putting in the work, not chasing the lowest number possible. Strength training, building muscle, eating properly, staying consistent and giving your body TIME will change your physique far more than obsessively trying to lose weight ever will. 🚀

Especially as a woman over 30…

If you want that lean, toned, athletic look, you NEED muscle. And the older you get, the more important that becomes. Muscle gives your body shape. It creates that tighter, denser look so many women are after.

And something people don’t talk about enough is muscle maturity.

The longer you train consistently over the years, the more developed and sculpted your physique becomes. That look doesn’t come from crash diets or constantly shrinking yourself. It comes from patience, consistency and years of showing up.

So please stop letting the scale ruin your mood.

Your weight fluctuating does not mean you’re failing.

Have you actually nailed the basics? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Before you spend another £50 on supplements You really don’t need, look at what you’re doing day to day.

How are you sleeping?
Are you moving in some form each day?
Are you GENUINELY eating a balanced, wholefood diet?
How many times are you drinking each week?

The women we work with every day are proof that fixing your foundations fixes everything. Start there first, be honest with yourself & the results will follow!

Starting your fitness journey in your 30’s can be overwhelming, initially.

There’s so much information online that it’s just gets you thinking “well what should I do?!” 🤯

Firstly, step away from Google. You reading article after article isn’t going to get you where you want to be.

Go back to be basics.
Keep it simple.
Find a touch of discipline. 🫡

Or better yet, get a coach, stay accountable & achieve between results in a better timeline!

When I’m in a dieting phase, I keep things SIMPLE.

Mostly whole foods, repeat meals, repeat ‘snacks’. Not because it’s “boring”, because it works.

The goal during a cut isn’t to become a full-time food creator. It’s to stay consistent, keep energy high, manage hunger, and get the result. 🎯

Whole foods tend to keep you fuller for longer, improve meal satisfaction, and make it easier to stick to your calories without constantly thinking about food. Consistency also reduces decision fatigue and helps keep calorie intake more accurate day to day which is massive when it comes down to this!

One of the biggest reasons fat loss stalls?
You’re changing recipes every day, eyeballing portions, macros drifting all over the place, and consistency disappears.

There’s absolutely a time for more variety, maintenance is where you can loosen up a bit. (Although honestly, I still eat very similarly… just more food 😂)

But when dieting? Get in. Get out.
Simple meals. Consistent ex*****on. Better results.

Tip: Go crazy with your seasonings, it makes even the simplest of meals taste amazing!
