Remember that yoga doesn’t end when we step off the mat. The first limb of yoga, the Yamas, reminds us how we meet the world, with awareness and compassion.
Ahimsa teaches us kindness, beginning with ourselves.
Satya invites us to live in truth, honoring our authentic selves.
Asteya encourages us to take only what is freely given and to appreciate abundance rather than lack.
Brahmacharya calls us to use our energy wisely, directing it toward what nourishes our spirit.
Aparigraha asks us to let go of expectations, attachments, and the need to control.
May these principles become more than ideas; may they become the way we breathe, speak, and move through life.
May you walk in kindness, live in truth, and find freedom in letting go.
