Have you ever noticed how quickly we reject a compliment?
Someone says,
*"You look beautiful."*
And before they've even finished the sentence, we're already explaining why they're wrong.
"It's the lighting."
"I don't look that good."
"I've had such a rough day."
Many of us were taught to be humble, but never taught how to receive.
So when appreciation, love, support, or recognition comes our way, we push it away without even realizing it.
This week, I invite you to practice something simple:
When someone compliments you, pause.
Smile.
And simply say:
✨ "Thank you."
Receiving doesn't make you arrogant.
It makes you open.
💛 Tell me honestly—do compliments make you uncomfortable?
