Shoulder pain caused by rotator cuff tendinopathy, subacromial bursitis, or shoulder impingement can sometimes be treated with a subacromial corticosteroid injection.
In this procedure, medication is injected into the subacromial space around the shoulder to help reduce inflammation and pain and improve shoulder movement.
