It is with deep respect and gratitude that we remember Giorgio Montagni, a visionary whose passion and spirit brought people together in a truly lasting way.

As the founder of the Round Table Euroskimeeting in 1969, Giorgio laid the foundation for an event that has endured for decades. What began as a shared idea among friends grew into a cherished tradition, uniting generations from across borders through a common love of skiing and fellowship.
Giorgio believed in more than just sport—he believed in connection, friendship, and the joy of coming together. His initiative created not only memorable moments on the slopes, but also lifelong bonds among those who participated.
Today, the Euroskimeeting still continues in an adopted version: a celebration of unity, laughter, fellowship and the simple pleasure of skiing together.
His legacy lives on in every gathering, every shared smile, and every turn taken on the snow by those who follow in his footsteps.
Giorgio Montagni will be remembered not only as a founder, but as a man who brought people together and inspired a tradition that continues to thrive.
