At Alkira Adina Academy, horses become learning partners as you explore confidence, courage, communication, self-awareness and personal growth — and discover how those lessons can carry into everyday life.

You don’t need to own a horse. You don’t need to be an expert rider. You simply need curiosity and a willingness to grow.

Riding lessons are about more than the time spent in the saddle. 🤎

There is so much learning that happens before we ride. Grooming, tacking up, safety, and learning how to communicate with our horse.

We learn to notice, listen and respond. Then we bring that understanding into the saddle, building balance, confidence and feel along the way.

Because learning to ride is also about learning to understand and connect with your horse.

Confidence. Capability. Connection. 🌿

What can a horse teach you about yourself?

More than you might expect.

This online Equine Assisted Learning course invites you to explore personal growth through horses including confidence, courage, emotions, connection and self-awareness.

And you don’t need to own a horse, ride, or have any previous EAL experience.

Created by an Australian teacher and Equine Assisted Learning practitioner, the course brings together educational expertise, experiential learning and practical experience with horses.

Want to explore the idea first?

Sometimes, the biggest lessons aren't the ones we plan for.

They happen in the quiet moments.
In noticing a change in your horse's body language.
In choosing to pause instead of rushing.
In learning to listen, understand and respond a little differently.

Our horses are constantly communicating with us, and the more we learn to notice those small things, the more we can understand the relationship we're building with them.

Because learning doesn't stop when you leave the arena. 🤎

That's a big part of why we've created the Alkira Adina Academy, to continue the learning, reflection and understanding beyond the riding lesson.

Which of these three lessons has your horse taught you?

I'd love to hear yours in the comments. 🐴

Sometimes the best moments are the quiet ones.

A slow day. A horse happily doing their own thing. A little bird passing by. A moment to simply stop and notice what’s happening around us.

Life can get busy, but there’s something special about taking a breath and being present in the little moments.

Be present. Be grateful. Be kind. 🤎

Wishing you a peaceful Sunday from all of us at Alkira Adina Equestrian. 🐴

Wet Weather Reminder ☔️

Friendly reminder that sessions continue throughout winter as part of normal program delivery.

Horse activities are outdoors and weather is part of the learning experience.

Sessions will only be cancelled or modified in the case of unsafe conditions, including:
• Thunder and lightning
• Extreme wind
• Conditions deemed unsafe by the instructor on site

All weather and safety decisions are made by the instructor at the venue at the time of the session.

If you have not been contacted directly by the instructor, please assume your session is going ahead.

The program director is not on site during sessions and is not involved in live weather decision-making. 🙂🐴
