Wet Weather Reminder ☔️

Friendly reminder that sessions continue throughout winter as part of normal program delivery.

Horse activities are outdoors and weather is part of the learning experience.

Sessions will only be cancelled or modified in the case of unsafe conditions, including:
• Thunder and lightning
• Extreme wind
• Conditions deemed unsafe by the instructor on site

All weather and safety decisions are made by the instructor at the venue at the time of the session.

If you have not been contacted directly by the instructor, please assume your session is going ahead.

The program director is not on site during sessions and is not involved in live weather decision-making. 🙂🐴

Our Selection is nearly here 😍

I’ve been slipping myself and the kids into a few pieces to test comfort and quality and so far it’s chef’s kiss 👩‍🍳😘

Like everything I do, there’s been plenty happening behind the scenes, and I’m now working away on the website to get everything ready for launch.

One thing I love? Every design has been created by a real person, not AI. ❤️

Stay tuned…

Thumper loves going out on the trail… I love how she has a quick canter then she’s like ‘meh, that’s enough for a pony like me’ 🤣

The Space Between Strides 🐴

Not every lesson learned with horses happens in the saddle.

Some happen while brushing muddy legs.
Some happen after a challenging ride.
Some happen when a rider finds the courage to try again.

The Space Between Strides is a guided journal for pre-teen and teen riders to capture their journey, celebrate their growth, reflect on their experiences, and create lasting memories with their horse.

With thoughtful prompts, space for photos, goal setting, achievements, and personal reflection, this journal becomes a record of far more than riding lessons.

It becomes the story of a young rider’s growth in confidence, responsibility, resilience, and horsemanship.

Because growth doesn’t only happen in the arena.

It happens in the space between the strides. ✨

🐴 Suitable for pre-teen and teen riders
💛 Print at home and create a keepsake to treasure for years

I popped Thumper onto a t-shirt for Mum 🤣🤎

I honestly can’t decide if it’s ridiculous or iconic… but I weirdly love the vibe of it as a casual riding/everyday horse-life tee.

Also before anyone asks — this was hand drawn by a real artist (not AI!) and watching the process come together was so cool. A little Canva magic and we now have a Thumper Toon 🤣🤣

Do we think Mum will like it? 👀

Sometimes as adults, trying something new can feel harder than it did as kids. Learning new skills, stepping outside your comfort zone, slowing down enough to reconnect with the world around you… it all takes courage.

Meet Keyu!
She’s only had a few rides, but she’s giving it a go and enjoying every step of the experience. After long weeks at work, horses have become a way to switch off, breathe out and reconnect, not just with riding, but with herself and the world around her.

You don’t have to grow up around horses to start. You just have to be willing to begin.

So I’ve had a number of non-horse families enquire about the 2026 horsemanship series. As a small business owner, coming up with a concept that interests others really gets me excited!! But, all these families have told me ‘we are not a horsie family, what do we need to do?’
So, I’m now in the process of creating some info for families and participants to get the ‘down Lo’ of the basics.
I’m a ‘new dance mum’ so I’m learning a whole new sport and I know it can be like stepping into a whole new world!!
If you can let me know your questions (no question too small, silly or weird) I will answer them and more 🙂🐴 Vanessa

It was only about 3 weeks ago that a bit of rain absolutely halted our business. The drainage was carefully planned, the next layer and the layer after that too… it warms my heart seeing a very dry surface after a day of rain 😍 shout out to the property owner and Onkaparinga small business grants and all the clients over summer so we could save for this and have this for winter…

Love seeing all the clients and participants using our new arena!! The space is perfect for developing skills, practicing techniques and working on horsemanship 🙌🏼
