You wake up already tired.
Eight hours, technically. Doesn't feel like it. Your mind's been racing since before you got up. By mid-afternoon you're flat, wired, or both. You can't quite explain why.
It might not be your schedule. It might not be your stress levels on their own.
It might be how you're breathing.
Most of us were never taught how to breathe properly. Sounds strange, it's something we do all day without thinking.
But a lot of people breathe through their mouth. Too fast. From the upper chest instead of the diaphragm. Over time that becomes the default. Quietly working against you.
It affects your sleep. It affects how on edge you feel for no clear reason. It affects the mind that won't switch off at night.
Here's the good news.
Breathing is one of the most trainable systems in the body. You don't need to overhaul your life. You just need an accurate picture of how you're breathing today.
New blog post digging into all of this, the link between breathing, sleep and emotion, and what a Functional Breathing Assessment can actually show you:
Learn why the way you breathe influences your sleep, energy, stress and focus, and why functional breathing could be the missing piece.
