Twenty-seven years ago, on July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party launched a brutal campaign against tens of millions of innocent Falun Dafa practitioners in China. Their only "crime" was living by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.

For 27 years, countless families have been torn apart. Thousands of practitioners are reported to have lost their lives due to persecution, while many more have been imprisoned, tortured, or subjected to forced labor simply because of their peaceful faith.

Today, we light a candle in remembrance of those who have suffered and those who have lost their lives. We also stand in solidarity with everyone who continues to peacefully uphold freedom of belief in the face of oppression.

May compassion overcome hatred, truth overcome lies, and justice prevail. This persecution must end.

💛 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined and supported today’s rally in front of Parliament House, marking 27 years of peacefully opposing the persecution of Falun Gong in China.

🕊️ Guided by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance (Zhen, Shan, Ren), we peacefully shared the truth about the persecution through our banners, speeches, and information displays, demonstrating the compassion and dignity that Falun Dafa practitioners uphold.

🎤 We were honoured to have Members of Parliament, VIPs, and guest speakers stand with us and speak out for human rights and freedom of belief. Falun Dafa practitioners also shared their personal experiences of persecution, helping many people better understand the ongoing human rights abuses in China.

🫀 This year’s rally placed a strong focus on exposing forced organ harvesting. Many members of the public stopped to learn more and signed our petition calling for an end to forced organ harvesting and the persecution of Falun Gong.

🙏 Thank you to all the practitioners and volunteers for your dedication, compassion, and hard work. Every conversation, every banner, every speech, and every petition signed helps bring greater awareness and moves us one step closer to ending this persecution.

✨ With Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, we will continue to peacefully raise awareness until the persecution ends.

What a fantastic day in Adelaide! ☀️🥁

Today, Falun Dafa practitioners gathered in Adelaide Chinatown to celebrate the milestone of 460 million people quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organisations. We were heartened by the tremendous support from the public, with many people stopping to learn more, chat with practitioners, and sign our petitions calling for an end to the persecution in China.

The celebrations continued in the afternoon as our vibrant Waist Drum Team performed at the SOUK Festival at Flinders Innovation Park, Tonsley. The lively music, colourful costumes, and positive energy were warmly received by festival-goers, creating a wonderful atmosphere throughout the event.

It was a day filled with community spirit, cultural exchange, and meaningful conversations. Thank you to everyone who visited our stall, signed the petitions, took photos, and encouraged us along the way. Your support helps raise awareness and brings hope for a brighter future.
