Tim and I were also given a special blessing to keep us safe on their country.

The family loved looking at their country from above via the drone. We can’t wait to share the photos and videos with Therese and her family ❣️

We got the call from locals to help them get their car out of a bog, then went to the beach for a bit of exploring. Shared our catch with some other locals and headed to Dim Dim for probably our last swim of the season. Good times

I’ve flown this route about 10 times in the last 16 months and it never ceases to fill me with awe and wonder.

We’ve had a whirlwind weekend to surprise Tim’s mum for her 80th birthday (and Mother’s Day).

We packed in a lot in the couple of days we were there - including the mall, markets, our old street, watching a bike race, running in the Mothers Day Classic, catching up with friends and of course lots of food and coffee ☕️

The cold was refreshing and the weekend was hectic, now it’s back to Wadeye for the rest of the term.
