We are delighted to welcome Bronwyn Cutler to the Age Well Albany team.
Bronwyn has lived and worked in Albany for over 20 years and brings more than 30 years of experience in both public and private mental health services. An experienced Social Worker, Sexologist and Psychotherapist, Bronwyn holds a Master of Applied Mental Health Studies (Older Persons Specialisation) and has dedicated much of her career to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of older adults.
Most recently, Bronwyn worked with the Older Adult Mental Health Team at Albany Community Mental Health, where she developed a special interest in older persons' mental health. She was also the principal researcher for the innovative Sexuality in Dementia (SID) Pilot Project, addressing an often-overlooked aspect of care for people living with dementia. This important research was published in the Australian Journal of Dementia Care in January 2026.
Bronwyn understands that talking about mental health can sometimes feel challenging and brings years of compassion, wisdom and practical experience to her work. Her approach is flexible, evidence-based and client-centred, with a focus on helping people achieve meaningful outcomes through short-term interventions.
As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Bronwyn can provide services under a Mental Health Care Plan, allowing eligible clients to access Medicare rebates. She welcomes self-referrals as well as referrals from GPs and other health professionals.
Bronwyn is excited to join Age Well Albany and be part of our multidisciplinary team, working together to support the health, wellbeing and independence of older adults in our community.
Please join us in giving Bronwyn a warm welcome!
