Our Slow Surrender breathwork class is designed to down-regulate your nervous system, guiding you out of the constant state of doing, and into deep rest.
Through slow, intentional breathing, we support the body in shifting from stress and overstimulation into calm, safety, and stillness.

This is where your shoulders drop.
Your mind quietens.

Through a combination of nasal breathing and mouth breathing, we intentionally stimulate the sympathetic nervous system- the part of you responsible for activation, alertness, and emotional charge.

Your breath can down-regulate (bring you into calm) or up-regulate (increase energy and release), depending on how it’s guided.
Slow, intentional breathing helps activate the vagus nerve supporting relaxation, recovery and regulation.

While more activating breathwork can:
• increase energy and circulation
• release stored tension and emotion
• create clarity and awareness

Both are powerful and both have their place.

In our studio, we offer both. From slow, down-regulating sessions to more activating, expansive experiences. All guided safely and intentionally.
