21.1km on race day deserves a stay that feels like a reward 🏃🏽‍♀️✨

For Melbourne half marathon weekend, I stayed at AC Hotel Melbourne Southbank for the perfect mix of comfort, convenience and boujee energy.

From a pre-race cuzzy night with Shanai to delicious in-room dining, Sorolla and Bar Triana, it made race weekend feel like a little getaway.

Dude. ONE WHOLE YEAR WITHOUT BOOZE. 🥹

For an ex-party girl, this is actually wild.

12 months ago, I decided something needed to change. I wanted more for myself, for my life and for the person I was becoming.

And today, I get to celebrate a whole year of choosing differently. A whole year of learning, growing and realising that you can have fun, make memories, feel good and live a bloody good life without alcohol being part of it.

I’m genuinely SO proud of myself. 🥹

And no, this isn’t me telling anyone else to stop drinking. It’s me reminding you to check in with yourself and your relationship with alcohol.
Because sometimes we get so caught up in what we’ve always done that we never stop to ask ourselves if it’s actually what we want anymore.
You don’t need to have a problem with alcohol to question your relationship with it. You don’t need to wait until something goes wrong to make a change.

You’re allowed to outgrow things. You’re allowed to choose differently. And you’re allowed to see what life looks like when you start putting yourself first.

One year down. And honestly? I’m pretty proud of this version of me. 🤍
