We’re all set and ready to welcome everyone to Winter Warmers this afternoon.

There’s still time to book online, or you’re very welcome to pay at the door (we can do cash or card). We have a limited number of catered spots available, so if you’re planning to eat with us, please recommend arrive early.

The Monthly Mixer is a welcoming social group catering for all abilities, where people can make friends, catch up with others, and enjoy fun community events together.

The Winter Warmers evening is shaping up to be a wonderful mix of relaxed acoustic music, games, warm food, and friendly conversation, before we turn up the energy and hit the dance floor for an evening of dancing and fun.

We will start the afternoon with a live acoustic music set and games, followed by dinner, then we will bring on the dancing tunes!
Low sensory space will again be available for reset time.

Whether you came to our first Mixer or are thinking about joining us for the first time, we’d love to see you there. Expect familiar faces, a welcoming atmosphere, and plenty of opportunities to connect with old friends and make new ones.

We’re beginning to plan the next chapter of The Monthly Mixer — and we’d love to hear from you.

Following the success of our first event, we are collecting feedback and ideas from participants, families, support staff, organisations, volunteers, and community members to help shape future events and projects.

We’re especially interested in ideas around:
🎵 Future event types
🤝 Community connection
♿ Accessibility and inclusion
🎨 A larger community showcase event later this year

The survey takes around 5–10 minutes and can be completed anonymously.

Round 2 is officially locked in! ❄️🔥

After listening to feedback from our first Mixer event, the overwhelming response was clear: people would love another evening event.
So, on Friday 26th June from 4pm–9pm, we’ll be bringing you Winter Warmers — a relaxed afternoon-to-night community event filled with games, warm food, music, dancing, and connection.

Due to the incredible support and high demand from our first event, we’ve upgraded to the larger function room — so expect the same familiar faces, welcoming atmosphere, and community hospitality, just with a little more space.
