So many women in their 50s are told to just eat less to lose weight… and I did that too. 😣

The scale moved ,but I felt tired, weak, and constantly hungry.

I didn’t know I was losing muscle, not fat.

Muscle is our metabolism’s best friend. It keeps us strong, supports our joints, and helps us burn more calories even while resting. 🙌

Here’s what changed everything for me:

✨ Eating enough protein each day (25–30g per meal)

✨ Strength training 2–3 times a week, even simple home workouts

✨ Not skipping meals (hello steady energy!)

✨ Supporting hormones + gut health with whole foods

✨ Less restriction, more nourishment 💛

When we protect muscle, we protect our metabolism.
