Love dogs? We are hiring in Traralgon, and this one really does come with dogs.

One of our clients is building their own dog walking micro-enterprise, and we are looking for someone to walk beside them while they run it. It is their business, and in time they will run it without you. That is the point.

You would not be making this up as you go. We support a number of micro-enterprises across Gippsland, so there is already a playbook for getting one off the ground, and you would be working to it.

The role has two parts. First, helping get the business set up. Then supporting our client as they meet potential customers, take their first bookings, and start walking dogs.

We might hire one person. We might hire two. It depends who we meet.

What you need: a genuine love of dogs, the confidence to handle them safely, and a current driver licence. A Working with Children Check and an NDIS Worker Screening Check are required, and we can help you sort those out.

Lived experience is valued, and we support the right people to grow into the role.

Casual to start, with flexible hours built around the rounds and room to grow into consistent hours over time.

This is what we're building.

Care that holds together, without families having to hold it.

Most NDIS supports run in parallel. The Allied Health provider has their goals. The support worker has their schedule. They don't share information. The young person gets an hour of therapy, and the rest of the week looks nothing like it.

That gap falls on families to bridge. Relaying what was covered in the session. Reminding the support worker what strategies to use. Carrying information that should already be shared.

At GCC, Allied Health sets the direction and Support Workers follow those strategies in the everyday moments. When your young person is in the community, at home, at school, the approach stays consistent. Allied Health isn't just 1 hour a week. It's carried through every time we support them.

We're starting with Speech Therapy, with big plans to grow. The same connected model, with more Allied Health input carried through into daily life as the team expands.

GCC grew out of something that was already working.

ESports Collective opened in September 2025 and grew faster than we expected. We became a safe place for neurodivergent young people to connect and belong.

We recognised the young people we were supporting could benefit from additional support. Especially those who had just left school and lost all the structured support they'd had access to in that setting.

We saw the potential to provide more meaningful support, alongside what we were already doing. That became Gippsland Care Collective. Allied Health and Support Work as one team, not separate services that don't talk to each other. Extending from our venue out to schools, community, home and beyond.
