Designing this market stall for The Design Exchange has been such a fun process already - thinking through the layout, palette, and finishing touches to evoke the feeling I hope the space creates - calm, warm and inviting.

A younger version of me wouldn't have believed this was possible 🥲

This collection - and the ecommerce photography behind it - represents new creative boundaries I've crossed.

Never in my life did I imagine collaborating with an artist as incredible as Susan Nethercote, nor did I think I’d one day create a candle collection that felt this beautiful, refined and true to the vision I’ve carried for so long.

For years, I’ve held the goal of creating candles that could confidently sit alongside brands I’ve always admired.

Seeing this collection brought to life in various forms feels like a milestone moment.

From the artwork, to the vessels, to these stunning images - every detail reflects something I once thought was beyond my reach.

And honestly, none of this would have happened without YOUR support along the way. Every order, every kind message and every person who has welcomed Simple Retreat into their home helped make this possible.
