This morning, the Neurophysiology Services Australia and NSW Spine SpecialistsNSW Spine Specialists teams came together for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea in support of Cancer Council Australia ☕💛

It was wonderful to spend time together while raising awareness and funds for a cause that impacts so many individuals and families across the community.

We are grateful to everyone who participated, donated and helped make the morning so special. Supporting the Cancer Council means helping fund vital cancer research, prevention programs and support services for Australians affected by cancer.

🧠🌀 Scoliosis Awareness Day | 26 June

Today we acknowledge the journey of those living with scoliosis — a condition that often requires complex surgical care.

At Neurophysiology Services Australia, our team provides intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) during scoliosis surgery, helping protect the spinal cord in real time.

By working closely with surgeons in theatre, we help reduce the risk of neurological injury and support safer outcomes — especially in complex paediatric and adult deformity cases.

🧑‍🔬Day 2 of Neurophysiology Services Australia's Annual Review, our team took a deep dive into advanced practical training for precision and safety in the OR. 🏥

Our sessions began with hands-on training for Head Electrodes in Facial MVD procedures, including both LSR and Blink Reflex monitoring. Followed by concepts and electrode placement techniques in Parietal Lobe Tumor procedures. Lastly, we explored specialised Electrode Placement for Pterional Craniotomy and Head Placement with a focus on quardipolar MEPs and EEG monitoring. Each step reinforced our commitment to delivering expert neurophysiological care, honing our skills to support better patient outcomes every day! 🧠💻
