Join us making delicious Meals

Recipe ideas
🍗 BBQ Chicken & Cheesy Wedge Boxes
Crispy, cheesy, saucy and lots of fun!
Preparation: 15 minutes Cooking: 25–30 minutes
🛒 Ingredients
1 packet BBQ boneless chicken bites
3 lbs (about 1.4 kg) potatoes, cut into wedges
¼ cup olive oil
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp paprika
¼ tsp oregano
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Sour cream
Chopped green onions
Extra BBQ sauce
👩‍🍳 Let's get cooking!
1. Shake it up! 🥔
Put your potato wedges and olive oil into a large zip-lock bag. Add the Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt and pepper. Seal the bag and shake until every wedge is coated.
2. Bake those wedges! 🔥
Spread the wedges on a lined baking tray. Bake at 220°C for 20–30 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and cooked through.
3. Get saucy! 🍗
Cook the BBQ chicken bites according to the packet instructions. Toss them in the warmed BBQ sauce until they're deliciously coated.
4. Build your own BBQ box! 🎉
Fill individual fry boxes with crispy wedges and BBQ chicken bites. Add a dollop of sour cream, sprinkle over green onions and finish with an extra drizzle of BBQ sauce.
🎉 Make it extra fun!
Build Your Own Box: Let everyone choose their toppings.
Sauce Challenge: Offer BBQ sauce, sour cream and a sprinkle of extra cheese.
Give your box a name: “The BBQ Beast”, “Cheesy Chicken Crunch” or “The Ultimate Wedge Box”.
Cooking teamwork: One person seasons the wedges, another prepares the toppings, and someone else assembles the boxes.
Serving idea: Make it a fun food-truck-style lunch with paper fry boxes, colourful napkins and everyone creating their own signature meal.

At Grove Support Services, our Social Worker Day Programme is designed to bring people together in a supportive, inclusive environment where everyone is encouraged to participate at their own pace.

Held every Wednesday in Rossmore, the programme offers opportunities to explore:

💚 Mental health and emotional wellbeing
💚 Building confidence and everyday life skills
💚 Understanding and navigating the NDIS
💚 Advocacy and self-advocacy
💚 Community connection and participation
💚 Personal goal setting and individualised support

Throughout the day, participants can enjoy relaxed conversations, practical activities, shared learning and opportunities for one-on-one guidance with our Social Worker.
