Recently I was diagnosed with Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis (DIE), Adenomyosis, and numerous ovarian cysts.

Was I surprised? Yes… and no.

At nearly 52, I thought I was entering menopause. But when I look back, I can see my body had been trying to get my attention for quite some time… it just wasn’t picked up.

If I’m really honest, 10–12 years ago my symptoms were a lot worse than they are now. But I was in the thick of raising three teenagers and working my butt off …and I simply didn’t have the time or space to look into it more deeply. We know so much more now - especially here in Australia.

You’ll often hear it’s about excess oestrogen…and that is part of it. But I also feel there’s a deeper layer - looking at the nervous system and endocrine system, particularly the role of the hypothalamus.

The body is never just one system. My intention moving forward is to avoid surgery, if I can. That feels right for me, and I’m being supported by practitioners who are really listening.

I’ve stepped away from one-on-one sessions for now, and other elements of my work to give myself the space to focus on what my body needs. Something I couldn’t do back then .

At the moment I’m gently supporting myself through:
• nervous system regulation
• diet & supplementation
• kinesiology
• flower essences
• herbs & tonics to help reduce inflammation

I’m choosing to see this not as a diagnosis… but as a teaching.

A chance to slow down, listen, and respond with more care.

If you’re navigating something similar, I feel you! Our bodies are always communicating with us… in their own way.

In my next post, I’ll share the flower essences my body muscle monitored for. 🌺

I could’ve just written them out… but honestly, it’s easier if you can screenshot it and check what you already have on hand if you feel called to work with something similar.

These were chosen through muscle monitoring - listening to what my body is asking for, not what I think it needs consciously.

And here’s the piece that feels just as important…

When I’m taking my essences, I hold an image in my mind of these flowers around my reproductive organs. Soft & gentle.

Because energetic medicine isn’t just about what we take…
it’s about the intention we bring to it.

So now, when I wake up in the morning, I place my hands over my belly and speak to my body with kindness. With appreciation. With compassion.

My reproductive system has served me incredibly well.
So I’m not angry at my symptoms, anymore. (I was.) I am now not fighting my body.

I’m choosing tenderness and acceptance. And I’m listening to what needs to change… so I can heal myself.

Every now and then, we have to choose ourselves.

Our health has to be our number one priority ~ physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally. It all plays a role in our overall wellbeing.

So, I’ve made the decision to take a break from one-on-one appointments for a while, with my final day being 12th of May 🌺

This hasn’t been an easy decision, and if I’m honest, it’s been coming for some time. I’ve held off because I never want to disappoint those of you who have trusted me and needed my support. But the depth of the work I’ve been doing over the past few years hasn’t always been easy, and I can feel that it’s taken a toll on my physical health.

Right now, I’m being called to step back and turn that care inward.

I will absolutely continue teaching, and all workshops will go ahead as planned ~ which I’m really excited about. And for those of you needing support, I can recommend some truly incredible practitioners who I trust deeply to take care of you.

The flower essences are, of course, always here to support you too.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey ~ your commitment to your growth, your healing, and your highest potential.

Sending you all so much love šŸ¤

This is the ancient landscape of Finke Gorge National Park… an important wilderness reserve protecting one of the oldest rivers in the world.

Remote, rugged and only accessible by four-wheel drive, it sits about 140km from Alice Springs in the Australian Outback- a place you don’t just visit, you feel.

The Finke River is believed to be over 350 million years old… and you can sense that age in every rock, every curve of the land.

I’ve been to some incredible places around the world, but if I close my eyes and think of the one that gave me the most spiritual presence… the kind that sends a tingle through your bones… it’s here. Palm Valley.

There’s something about this place that feels untouched in a way that goes beyond the physical. The energy is different.

Palm Valley is home to rare red cabbage palms- ancient botanical remnants from a time when Central Australia was lush and tropical. Surrounded by towering red cliffs, river gums and quiet waterholes, it feels like stepping into another time.

I took this photo back in June 2022, and it still holds that same feeling for me.

Even the Aboriginal people recognised the power of this place. They didn’t set up camp here, they would come, visit, gather what they needed, and then leave again. That alone tells you everything.

If you ever come to Australia… make the journey.
Palm Valley is something you don’t just see - you experience.
