Meet Marli – Therapeutic Behaviour Support in Echuca!

We’re excited to introduce Marli, one of our local Therapeutic Behaviour Support Practitioners supporting Echuca and surrounding communities.

Marli brings a Bachelor of Human Services and eight years of experience in the disability sector, working alongside both children and adults with a diverse range of support needs.

Some of Marli’s key areas of interest include:

- Choice, Self-Determination & Inclusion
- Community Participation & Everyday Living Skills

Our growing Goldfields team is proud to support participants, families, schools and care teams across Bendigo, Ballarat, Castlemaine, Daylesford, Maryborough and surrounding communities.

With Abigail, Aletta, Hayley, Lara and Sukriti working across the region, our team brings a diverse range of backgrounds, experience and areas of interest, with one shared focus: taking the time to understand each person, building genuine relationships and creating meaningful, sustainable change.

Through our Network Practice Model, our practitioners provide responsive, local support while being connected to the knowledge, guidance and experience of our broader Therapeutic Behaviour Support team. This means local support, backed by a connected team.

Meet Lara 👋

Lara holds a Bachelor of Criminology and Psychological Science and is passionate about creating meaningful change through genuine relationships and taking the time to understand each person’s unique strengths, experiences and needs.

She has particular interests in trauma-informed practice, supporting adults, mental health and forensic settings, bringing a thoughtful, person-centred and therapeutic approach to her work.

Lara is supported by our Network Practice Model, meaning participants benefit not only from their individual practitioner, but from the collective knowledge, experience and clinical support of our wider therapeutic team.

Get to know Mercy!

What makes every Therapeutic Behaviour Support Practitioner different is the experience, knowledge and perspective they bring to their practice.

Mercy brings a unique multidisciplinary perspective to Therapeutic Behaviour Support, with qualifications in Counselling and Physiotherapy, alongside hands-on experience supporting people in their everyday environments.

Throughout her career, Mercy has worked directly alongside people with Autism, Intellectual Disability, dual diagnoses and complex support needs. This experience has given her a valuable understanding of what support looks like on the ground, not just in a plan, but in people's homes, communities and everyday lives.

Her multidisciplinary background supports her to look beyond behaviour alone, considering emotional wellbeing, physical health, communication, relationships, environment and the many factors that may be influencing what a person is experiencing.

Mercy brings a warm, curious and collaborative approach to her practice. She values building genuine relationships and working alongside participants, families and support teams to develop a shared understanding and create practical, meaningful change.

Mercy supports participants across Bairnsdale, East Gippsland and surrounding communities and is currently welcoming new referrals.

Tadiwa holds a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), bringing a thoughtful, person-centred approach to every individual and family she supports. She is passionate about building genuine relationships and working alongside participants, families, and support teams to develop practical strategies that enhance wellbeing, build capacity, and improve quality of life.

With experience supporting people across disability, health, and community settings, Tadiwa has a particular interest in person-centred practice, trauma-informed care, and empowering people to achieve meaningful outcomes that align with their goals.
