Your blood tests can come back “normal” and you can still feel anything but.

Tired. Wired. Struggling with your weight. Not sleeping properly. Hormones all over the place. Feeling like something has changed — but being told your results look fine.

There’s often a lot more information sitting in your blood results than you’ve been shown.

I’m bringing it all together in a new live masterclass:

Twigged™ Blood Testing Analysis Masterclass: How to Feel Like Yourself Again

I’ll walk you through the blood markers I look at, the ranges I actually use, and how I look for patterns across your results rather than assessing each marker in isolation.

And I’ll show you what those patterns can tell us about areas like your hormones, thyroid, metabolism, inflammation and nutrient status.

Registration is opening soon.

DM me TWIGGED and I’ll add you to the waitlist.

8cm off her waist in just 1 week.

Fat loss? Or inflammation finally settling down?

It’s not 8cm of body fat gone — that doesn’t happen in seven days.

What can change quickly is bloating, fluid retention and gut irritation. When we start addressing the drivers behind those symptoms, the change around the waist can be dramatic — often before significant fat loss has even had time to happen.

And that’s still a very real result.

In Renew You Foundations, we’re not just chasing a number on the scale. We’re looking at what may be driving the symptoms in the first place — gut, hormones, stress, blood sugar and inflammation — then building the plan around you.

Because sometimes the first sign your body is responding isn’t the scales.

It’s your clothes fitting differently.

Ready to find out what’s going on underneath yours?

Comment BLOODS and I’ll send you the blood test list I use with my clients to help work out where to start.

If you remember the 80s this well, there’s a good chance your hormones are now doing things no one warned you about. 😵‍💫

You’re eating pretty well. You’re exercising. You’re doing all the things that used to work.

But suddenly your waistline has changed.
The weight won’t shift.
You’re exhausted by 2pm.
You’re bloated for no obvious reason.
Your sleep is unpredictable and your brain has apparently left the building.

And then you’re told your bloods are “normal.”

This is the part I want more women to understand:

Normal doesn’t always tell us why you don’t feel like yourself.

In my clinic, I look beyond hormones alone. I look at the bigger picture — thyroid function, insulin and glucose regulation, iron and nutrient status, inflammation, stress physiology and hormones — because these systems don’t operate in isolation.

Your body didn’t suddenly forget how to work because you turned 40.

You don’t need to try harder.

You need someone who knows what they’re looking for.

Comment BLOODS and I’ll send you the blood test list I ask my clients to request from their GP.

Let’s find out what’s actually going on. 🔬

9CM IN 2 WEEKS 👀

And Kate didn’t have a lot of weight to lose.

She’d simply noticed what so many women do in their 40s and 50s — more weight and bloating around her middle, tighter clothes, and what used to work suddenly… didn’t.

The dreaded “meno belly.”

We made targeted changes for her body — including actually eating MORE and reducing her histamine load.

Two weeks later? 9cm gone from her middle.

You don’t need 20kg to lose to need a different approach.

Maybe it’s 5kg. Maybe the scales haven’t changed much at all, but your waistline has. Maybe you’re eating well and exercising, but your body just isn’t responding the way it used to.

That’s exactly what we work on inside Renew You Foundations — looking beyond simply “eat less, move more” to understand what your body needs and why your results may have stalled.

My next intake is now open.

The number one thing I find myself saying to my clients?

“You’re not eating enough.”

I rarely see women sitting on the couch eating KFC every night, wondering why they can’t lose weight.

The women who come to me are usually doing the opposite.

They’ve been trying for YEARS.

As the scales have crept up and their clothes have become tighter, they’ve responded by eating less.

Cut the carbs.
Skip breakfast.
Smaller lunch.
No snacks.
Be “good” all week.
Try another diet.

And by the time they get to me, some are eating drastically less than their body actually needs.

Others are eating beautifully — whole foods, plenty of protein, doing all the “right” things — but what they’re doing simply isn’t right for their body.

So one of the first things I often do?

I ask them to eat more.

More nourishment. More protein. More carbohydrates where appropriate. More consistency.

While we look at the bigger picture — blood sugar, thyroid function, hormones, nutrient status, inflammation, digestion, stress, sleep and what their blood results are actually telling us.

The goal isn’t to keep taking food away.

It’s to create an environment where the body is adequately fuelled, supported and able to respond.

And I see it time and time again: we increase food, the body feels better, energy improves, cravings settle and weight starts moving again.

If you’re thinking “I’m doing everything right… so why won’t my clothes fit anymore!?” that’s exactly the conversation I want to have with you.

Book a “Why Won’t My Clothes Fit Anymore?” Discovery Call with me.

We’ll talk about what you’ve been doing, what might be missing, and whether Renew You Foundations is the right fit to help you finally get things moving again.

And yes — even if you’re on a GLP-1 and not seeing the results you expected, there may be more going on than simply needing to eat less.

In fact, I might just tell you to eat more. 😉

Your bloods came back “normal.”

But you’re exhausted.
Your weight is changing despite doing all the right things.
You’re bloated, foggy, anxious, waking at 3am, losing hair, struggling with your cycle — or you just don’t feel like yourself anymore.

So what happens next?

Too often: nothing.

Because most blood tests are being looked at one marker at a time — is it inside or outside the reference range?

But that’s not the only question worth asking.

What I want to know is:

What’s sitting high-normal or low-normal?
Which markers are shifting together?
What patterns are emerging across thyroid, hormones, iron, glucose, inflammation and nutrients?
And most importantly — do those patterns make sense alongside your symptoms and health history?

Because you can have results sitting neatly inside a laboratory reference range and still have a clinical picture worth investigating.

Your symptoms are data too.

If your bloods are “normal” but you know something isn’t adding up, comment BLOODS and I’ll show you where to start.

10.4kg in 12 weeks is an incredible result.

But the number on the scales isn’t actually my favourite part.

She has more energy.
She’s sleeping through the night.
Her bloating has resolved.
She’s not constantly hungry.
She’s not battling cravings.
And she doesn’t feel like she’s “on a diet”.

Because weight loss shouldn’t require you to spend 12 weeks hungry, exhausted and thinking about food all day.

We worked on the bigger picture — her blood results, nutrition, blood sugar regulation, digestion, hormones, sleep and the patterns that were making weight loss harder than it needed to be.

The weight loss was the visible result.
Feeling like herself again was the bigger one.

If you’re doing everything “right” but your body isn’t responding, comment BLOODS and I’ll send you the blood test list I use with my clients to start looking at what might be getting in the way.

Your bloods came back “normal.”

But you still don’t feel like yourself.

After fifteen years in clinic, this is one of the most common things I hear from women in their 30s, 40s and 50s.

Blood tests are incredibly useful for identifying disease and ruling out pathology. But being inside a standard reference range doesn’t automatically tell us why you’re exhausted, gaining weight, waking at 3am, losing your hair or suddenly struggling with symptoms you’ve never had before.

That’s where I look deeper.

Not just at whether an individual marker has been flagged high or low, but at the patterns across your results — thyroid, hormones, glucose regulation, iron status, inflammation, nutrient markers and more — alongside your symptoms and history.

Sometimes the clue isn’t one dramatically abnormal result.

It’s what happens when you connect the dots.

If you want to know where to start, comment BLOODS 🩸 and I’ll send you the exact blood test list I ask my own clients to request from their GP — plus private testing options if you’d rather organise them yourself.

I see weight loss as a sign of reducing inflammation — a body finally responding to treatment. But the real signal is the weight itself. Like bloating or painful periods, it’s a symptom that deserves attention and investigation, not just management. Your body is trying to tell you something.

In Renew You Foundations, investigating the why behind the symptoms is what I specialise in. My unique way of reading and analysing results and patterns means we get to the drivers behind the dysfunction — and treat it quickly, before it becomes harder to unwind.

If you’re interested in how I read bloods, or where to start, comment BLOODS and I’ll send you the list of bloods to ask your GP for, or options to do private testing with my preferred providers, using the markers that give the most information to me.

(And if you commented before and it never landed — comment again, I promise I’ve finally worked out how the technology works!)

I’m a women’s health clinical nutritionist.

I’ve also been the same weight for 25 years.

Not because I’ve found some secret. Because I did the work: read the patterns, found what was actually driving things for me, and now I manage it, every single day.

No 80:20 rule. No cheat days. No second wardrobe for when things change. Just habits I don’t negotiate with, and a few things I genuinely, unapologetically love.

This is what it actually looks like. Not glamorous. Not complicated. Just consistent.

Save this for the day you need reminding it doesn’t have to be harder than this.

Which one’s controversial to you, the 80:20 rule or the ice cream mind trick? Tell me below.

Follow Pip Reed | 15 Yrs Women’s Health Clinical Nutritionist for more of the unglamorous stuff that actually works, and comment BLOODS if you’d like the list of bloods I request for optimal health.
