My little Mountain goat.
Poor little girl hasn’t been well the last few weeks. After some trips to the vet and tests it turns out she has Asthma 😢.
Only 5% of cats develop asthma and they are usually diagnosed between 6-11.
Bella is 13 so it’s unusual a cat to be diagnosed at her age however the vet said that may be because it’s under diagnoses.
So if you have a kitty yourself and you notice any unusual coughing when they are not bringing up a hair ball keep an eye on it.
Corticosteroids have made a difference over the last week however moving forward I will need to give her an inhaler everyday. This will be a challenge but I will be documenting the process of her becoming comfortable with it so watch this space.

Late Birthday Post.
Thank you to all my beautiful friends who helped me celebrate my Birthday last week.
To think that when I first arrived in Brisbane in 2017 years ago I was so consumed with homesickness that the thought of opening up to and connecting with new people was overwhelming. I had my walls up. Fast forward 6 years later and I am so grateful I allowed myself to open up, show up receive the unique magic each and every one of you have sprinkled into my life.

I didn’t know how much I needed this until I was sitting on a rock in the creek with my feet immersed in the cool running water breathing in the earthy delicious scent of Mother Nature.

What a special way to end 2021.
Finally got to meet this little one and spend the night with two of my closest girlfriends for the first time in years.
No matter have far we separated by distance, we are still connected through heart, spirit, friendship, connection and cherished memories….not to mention some crazy and hilarious ones!
