For so long now.. we.. yes, you and me, and the women in the generations before us - we’ve stopped questioning things that are, quite frankly, f*cked. 😂

We can sense and feel when things are off.. and have been taught to turn off that inner voice and instead just accepted them as ‘normal’.

It’s … ‘normal’ to spend so much time analysing our appearance, to become so well versed in ‘anti-aging’, to run ourselves into the ground, then wear exhaustion like a badge of honour.

The truth is, none of this is actually normal.

It’s just familiar.

It’s time more women started asking different questions.

Because the moment we question what we’ve inherited…

Inherited!!!!

That’s the key word here, my loves.

It means so much of what we believe about our bodies, our worth, our health and the way we live was handed to us.

And if it was inherited, it can also be questioned. That’s where the possibility of living differently begins.

So I’ll leave you with one question of my own.

How the f*ck did we get here?

I feel incredibly grateful that we live in a time where surgery, medication and medical technology can save lives. There are moments when they’re exactly what’s needed.

And, sadly, we’ve forgotten that the body can also be listened to through touch. Touch is in fact one of the oldest forms of care to exist.

Listening Hands can gather information.

They can feel changes in tissue, movement, tension and holding that don’t always show up on a scan, yet profoundly shape how a woman experiences her body.

I often wonder how different women’s experiences of healthcare would be if every pathway began with someone taking the time to truly listen to their body with their hands.

I’d love to know your thoughts. Have you ever experienced the kind of care where you genuinely felt listened to through touch?

The last ten months I may have appeared quiet on here… when in reality life has felt fuller than ever. My travels to Iceland and Switzerland - profound. Stepping into my 40’s - an unveiling of abundant vitality & wisdom like never before. My felt experiences as my learnings have traversed into depths of anatomy not even nurses or doctors touch - indescribable. After landing in Colorado and being held by the medicine mountains, I have remembered things my body had been quietly teaching me for years.

As I’ve sat down to write this first post back, I initially was trying to find words to try to explain what Whole Woman Whole Pelvic Care is…

Until I realised that’s not possible. To try and language something cellularly experiential, is to dilute it. It must be experienced. So instead, my share is about how I now know, at a cellular level, how Whole Woman Whole Pelvic Care is regenerative care and why it matters sooo incredibly much to the continuum of Womanhood and why thissss type of care is the care women’s bodies have been crying out for, for centuries.

So many women are carrying stories about their bodies that were never truly theirs.

Stories they’ve inherited.

Stories they’ve been told.

Stories they’ve accepted because they didn’t know there could be another way.

My prayer isn’t to convince any one of anything.

It’s to offer an experience.

One where the body of woman is met with reverence.

One where the pelvis and female reproductive ecology are spoken about with love instead of shame.

One where touch becomes a way of listening.

One where we begin trusting the extraordinary intelligence of our own bodies again.

If you’ve been here while I was quiet, thank you for staying.

If you’re new, welcome to The Remembered Way.

We’re going to have some beautiful experiences here.

🌹🤲🏽
