What a week, having the chance to meet some incredible people at this years Waste Smart awards and be inspired by so many innovative programs that communities, schools, companies and individuals are doing.

The event was topped off with a win 🏆 our Director taking home the Waste Champion Award hosted Brisbane City Council and Adrian Schrinner

♻️ Did you know our Australian healthcare system contributes to 7% of the country’s carbon emissions and that 59% of that is linked to single use procured goods?
💉 The good news is is ready to take on the challenge and tackle the complex world of plastics recovery, material management, up cycle innovations and future circular design.

🏥 It was a pleasure to discuss sustainability leadership and how to embed sustainability across the sector.

🥼 With more than 200 engaged doctors, professors, clinicians and students at the Climate and Health Alliance event last Friday, we saw such high levels of engagement and drive to make true change.

This week we celebrate 1 year working with the passionate team at St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital to take their single use plastic and reuse it.

We have saved 1976 regular recycling bins full of single use plastic from landfills - instead this valuable resource went to making new products.
