Hi Team! 👋🌸

I’m so happy and excited to be joining the Care Nation family as your new Social Activities Coordinator!

I’m really looking forward to meeting you all over the coming weeks and working together to make Care Nation the talk of the town for the amazing opportunities we give our clients to get out, connect, have fun and live life to the fullest! 💕

Please find attached a little introduction from me, along with information on our next outing – Toowoomba’s Carnival of Flowers on Thursday 24th September! 🌷🌻🌺

🚌 IMPORTANT – we only have 7 seats available on the bus, so it really is FIRST IN, BEST DRESSED!

Please have a chat with your clients and, if they would love to come along, send me their details ASAP so I can secure their spot and organise the logistics.

What an awesome coffee club it was today!

The first of many birthday celebrations for Carl who even provided the entertainment at his own birthday party, with one of our support workers Michael. We certainly have some very talented musicians here at Care Nation! :)

Our coffee club on a Wednesday has become a very special place for friendships, celebrations and new beginnings for everyone who attends and its definitely my favourite day of the week!

Don't forget our Coffee Club is on today from 9.30am. Pop on down for a cuppa and a catchup with friends.

"Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I'm Possible!"

Living each day with gratitude is what our clients do and they love getting out and about exploring our beautiful bayside even getting to see baby swans, kites, racing cars and playing pool.

And this past week, we have had quite a few celebrations with our amazing Support Workers. There was the Grand final footy win for both Jim & George and their team, as well as a joint birthday celebration for Kristie and Chi Chi. Congratulations to you all.

Sunshine and smiles are on the menu this week, but don't believe Geoffrey when he says he's just OKAY at Pool....he keeps his talent a secret and needs a yummy lunch to quench his hunger afterwards 😁

We were also busy enjoying the EKKA, Bingo Beats (with lots of winners) and ensuring our clients had delicious home cooked meals for the week.

We are so grateful for our beautiful clients and how special and supported they make each other feel. The friendships they are building with each other at Coffee Club on a Wednesday morning, over a shared Sunday lunch, bowling, and even today at the EKKA is so awesome.

It's so very special to watch and provide them with opportunities to hang out with each other.

We've had quite a busy few weeks here in Care Nation.

We've celebrated a few special birthdays, attended candle making classes, painting classes, sporting events and we've even helped one of clients buy a kitten that he's always wanted.

Some AWESOME news we've just found out today, is that Carl’s beautiful artwork is on display at the Carindale exhibition. A wonderful achievement that reflects his creativity, talent and dedication.

Life is short. Do what makes you happy! :)
