EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), also known as tapping, combines gentle tapping on acupressure points

While acknowledging what you’re feeling and any unhelpful thoughts associated to that.

And while it might look a little strange at first…

it’s one of the most powerful tools I’ve found for:

✨ moving through emotions
✨ reducing stress and overwhelm
✨ creating safety in the body
✨ reconnecting with yourself
✨ healing trauma

I was in yoga this morning, lying in shavasana at the end of class…

and it struck me how much the moment felt like a metaphor for life

The class was held in this glass room inside a busy gym

Outside the glass, life was happening loudly

Weights dropping
Music pumping
People walking past
Movement everywhere

And inside the room…

singing bowls
stillness
soft breaths
presence

For a moment I noticed myself wanting the outside noise to stop
so I could fully relax.

And then it hit me…

life will probably always be noisy

There will always be distractions
Demands
Other people doing what they do

Uncertainty
Pressure
Chaos

The goal isn’t to wait for life to become perfectly quiet before you allow yourself to feel peace

It’s learning how to cultivate that inner sanctuary within yourself

That place you can return to…
even when the world around you feels loud

The ability to soften your body

To ground yourself

To come back to your breath

To hear your own inner voice amongst all the external noise

That’s the work

Not escaping the chaos…
but learning how to stay connected to yourself within it

And honestly?

I think that’s one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves 🤍

This is exactly why I love nervous system work so much

Because peace isn’t something you find outside of yourself…

It’s something you learn to create within

In editing myself and trying to perfectly curate my grid I drained the colour and inspiration out of my message

I was rejecting parts of myself and creating separation.

No wonder I was avoiding showing up.

So… I’m not doing that anymore.

Which means, here comes another pivot!

I don’t fully know what this is going to look like yet…

but I can tell you this:

It’s going to be messy.
Authentic.
All-encompassing.
And full of colour.

Some days I might talk about motherhood.
Other days, business.
Healing.
Marriage.
Personal growth.
Love languages.
Soul rhythms

and I might even share some of my flower photography...

or whatever else is alive and exciting for me in that moment.

Because instead of curating myself to fit into some socially acceptable box…

I’m giving myself permission
to be ALL OF ME

Fully and completely

Because that’s what I want for myself.

And it’s what I want for you too.

Because that’s FREEDOM!

That's PURPOSE!

You, being exactly who you are,
loving yourself through it,
and allowing yourself to evolve
into the next version of you along the way.

That’s the journey.

And honestly?

It’s a pretty beautiful ride 🤍

So just in case you need it - this is your reminder that the way you feel is information and it's there to guide you home!

You get to pause, to pivot and to choose again.

From where you are - to where you want to be.

From who you’ve been - to who you’re becoming

There’s something I’ve been noticing more and more…

There are so many women right now building businesses from soul.

From purpose.
From passion.
From a deep desire to serve, to create, to live life on their own terms.

And it’s beautiful

But there’s also another side to it…

Because what I’m seeing, over and over again, is how easy it is to get caught up in the BUSY-ness of business

In the doing
The decisions
The holding of everyone else

And somewhere in all of that…

We lose our connection to our Self

To that grounded place within
To our intuition
Our power
Our inner knowing

Not because we don’t have it…
But because we don’t always have a space to come back to it

It keeps getting pushed to the bottom of the list

And that’s why I created this.

Not as another thing to do.
Not as something to fix you.

But as a space to hold you.

A place where you don’t have to lead, perform, or figure anything out.

Where you get to land, reconnect, recentre, rebalance, and come back to yourself.

Rest is beautiful… but coming back after rest can be the hardest part.

This month, my energy moved through its natural cycle.
I honoured my winter season by pulling back, resting, and not creating.

But when I sat down to write again?
My system went straight into overwhelm → freeze.

Instead of spiralling into “Why am I like this? What’s wrong with me?”
I recognised what was actually happening:

✨ My nervous system had switched OFFline
✨ The task felt bigger than it really was
✨ I needed regulation, not pressure

So I used my Balanced Blueprint:

Let the problem be the path
→ Naming the truth: “I feel overwhelmed and stuck.”

Let desire light the way
→ Wanting simplicity, ease, and fun instead of perfection.

Let my body be my guide
→ Using tapping to shift out of freeze and back into clarity.

Awareness changes everything.
We stop shaming ourselves… and start supporting ourselves.

And honestly—this moment reminded me exactly why I wrote my book.
Not as information, but as lived wisdom.
I don’t teach what I don’t embody.
I use these tools every single day, in real human moments just like this.
