If anyone had told me - when I was standing on the banks of Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown, ringing in the New Year - that this is where life would be in six months… I wouldn’t have believed them!

But the universe had other plans.

So here we are - halfway through 2026. No perfect plan. No dramatic comeback. No flawless fresh start. Just me… showing up as I am - tired, hopeful, healing, uncertain.

But maybe that’s the point. To learn who I am again, find my way back to her, and choose to love her through all of it. 💕

Burrum always feels like a reset button for my heart🫶🏼. A few days away with my favourite two little adventurers - salty hair, sandy feet, slow mornings, and the kind of quiet you can only find by the water.

Sometimes life shifts in ways you never quite expected…but there’s something grounding about coming back to a place that’s held you through every version of yourself.

What a weekend… amazing girls’ trip that took a wild turn 🤦‍♀️🍷. Urgent medical care mid-winery tour, on top of a mountain, is not the vibe🙃 End result = acute pancreatitis + a gallbladder that apparently has to go 😳

Massive love to & 💕 From epic 24hrs of fun to rallying like absolute legends - ambulances, hotel rooms packed, cars sorted, and me looked after through it all. Couldn’t have asked for better besties 🥂✨

Third time in for dental surgery under general anaesthetic for my little champ 💙🦷

It never gets easier watching your child go through it… but at least CB’s got the “pre-op drugs comedy” routine nailed - seriously funnier than Netflix 🤣

For those who don’t know, both our boys have enamel hypoplasia - a condition where the enamel on their teeth doesn’t form properly. This makes their teeth weaker, more prone to damage, and extra sensitive. It’s not caused by poor dental care, but it does mean regular dental work (and sometimes surgery) to keep his smile healthy.

We’re so proud of how brave he is every single time. 💪❤️

After countless hours spent in hospitals with H’s seizures & both boys various illnesses/injuries, & through my time working with QLD Health, I’ve seen firsthand just how vital, compassionate & tireless nurses are🙏🏼. You show up on the hardest days & give so much of yourselves.
