🐾 Tomorrow is International Dog Day! 🐾

And how adorable is this little member of the VFLI paw patrol team!

Six VFLI team members are taking on Fred’s Big Run to support the incredible work of The Fred Hollows Foundation — and, naturally, our four-legged friends are joining in too!

Our furry teammates are ready to do their bit for this important cause: helping to end avoidable blindness.

We were proud to see Dr Cameron McLintock alongside fellow surgeons Dr Blake Williamson, Dr Karoline Maia Rocha, Dr Andrea Ang and Dr Dan Black presenting on the impact of pupil size and angle alpha on Odyssey multifocal lenses.

Sharing clinical insights and emerging evidence helps drive better patient outcomes and supports ongoing innovation in cataract and refractive surgery.

A great few days at connecting, learning and sharing ideas with colleagues from across the eye care community.

The VFLI team was proud to be represented by our ophthalmologists, researcher and optometry colleagues — celebrating collaboration across every part of patient care.

A highlight was Dr Cameron McLintock’s presentation on EDOF lenses, exploring how advances in lens technology continue to expand possibilities for our patients.

This week we were privileged to welcome Bronte Phillipps from The Fred Hollows Foundation to Vision for Life Institute for a special Lunch & Learn.

Hearing firsthand how the more than $100,000 VFLI has donated is helping restore sight and transform lives was a powerful reminder that together, we really can make a difference.

The stories behind the impact inspired us all and made us even more excited to lace up for Fred’s Big Run this August. Every step we take will help continue Fred’s vision of ending avoidable blindness.
