Kids have no idea what kind of week their parents have had.

They don’t see the bills, the arguments in your head, the version of you that almost didn’t have the energy left today. They just see you. Home. Arms open.

The little one don’t know when you nearly cancelled on yourself a dozen times this week. They just knows they found their spot to fall asleep safe.

That’s the part they remember. Not the struggle behind it, just how it felt to be near you.

Most men are taught that strength means carrying everything alone and never asking for help. We grow up believing that admitting we need support is a sign of weakness, so we bottle it up and push through in silence. But real strength isn’t about how much weight you can carry by yourself. It’s about having the courage to ask for help and the humility to let other men walk beside you while you work through it. The strongest men we know aren’t the ones who never struggle.
