ONE YEAR TO GO.

Exactly one year from today, a group of Amend Men will step onto the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea for a journey that will mean far more than simply reaching the other end.

In 2027, we will walk Kokoda during the 85th anniversary year of the Kokoda campaign, following in the footsteps of the ANZACs whose courage, sacrifice, mateship and resilience became part of our history.

We are not walking to compare our struggles with theirs. We are walking to honour those who served, while carrying forward something they understood deeply: no man should have to face his battles alone.

For Amend Movement, this journey represents everything we stand for. It is about men standing beside men, having the courage to speak when life becomes heavy, asking for help when it is needed, and creating a brotherhood where strength is not measured by how much a man can carry alone.

Over the next 12 months, we are going to share much more about this journey, the 20 men who will walk it, why we are doing it, and what we believe it can represent for men across the world. But the impact of this journey will reach far beyond the 20 men who step onto the Kokoda Track. We have a much bigger plan behind this campaign, one designed to take the conversations, stories and lessons from Kokoda beyond the track and into the lives of thousands of men. Twenty men will walk it, but thousands will be part of the journey.

For now, the countdown begins.

Kids have no idea what kind of week their parents have had.

They don’t see the bills, the arguments in your head, the version of you that almost didn’t have the energy left today. They just see you. Home. Arms open.

The little one don’t know when you nearly cancelled on yourself a dozen times this week. They just knows they found their spot to fall asleep safe.

That’s the part they remember. Not the struggle behind it, just how it felt to be near you.
