Tip of the Day đ
Great support coordination isnât about putting out firesâitâs about preventing them.
When youâre constantly reacting to crises, chasing invoices, or scrambling to fill roster gaps, itâs easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. But the most effective Support Coordinators know that proactive planning is the secret to better outcomes (and less stress).
Start preparing for your participantâs plan review 10 weeks out, not 10 days.
Use that time to:
* Review budgets and identify underspends
* Gather supporting evidence and therapist letters
* Set realistic expectations with participants
* Identify whatâs working and what needs adjusting
Planning ahead means you walk into that review meeting confident, prepared, and ready to advocate for exactly what your participant needs.
Future you will thank you. And more importantly, your participants will too.
