📣 Support Worker Wanted – Baffle Creek Area 📣

Hi everyone,

We are currently looking to connect with a support worker who is confident with computers and technology to support a lovely female NDIS participant in her 60s.

The ideal support worker would:
💻 Be comfortable with basic computer skills and technology
🚗 Be willing to travel to Baffle Creek, or already live locally/in nearby areas
🤝 Be patient, supportive, and enjoy helping someone build confidence and independence with technology
📅 Have availability for ongoing support

🌸 Seeking Recommendations 🌸

We’re currently looking for a Speech Pathologist in Bundaberg for a young (13 years) female NDIS participant .

We’re hoping to find someone who can support emotional expression, communication and emotional regulation. Not just speech sounds. Someone who works gently, takes a holistic approach, and values building strong rapport would be ideal.

🌏✨ Community Adventures with Be Seen Support & Coordination ✨🌏

One of our participants recently enjoyed a wonderful day out with their support worker Preston exploring the fascinating Mystery Craters in South Kolan.

Together, they spent the day discovering the unique rock formations, learning about the history and theories behind the craters, and taking in the beautiful natural surroundings. They also enjoyed viewing an incredible collection of rocks, crystals, and fossils, making for a fun and educational experience.

At Be Seen Support & Coordination, we love helping participants explore their interests, build confidence, create meaningful connections, and enjoy new experiences within our local community.

🌿 Respite Weekend Reset 🌿

This weekend we had the opportunity to support a participant on a much needed respite getaway, and what a beautiful place it was to do it.

From feeding the horses, enjoying fresh local eggs, relaxing by the fire, taking in the stunning sunsets, and simply slowing down to enjoy the peace and quiet, it was the perfect environment to unwind and recharge.

Respite isn’t always about doing more, it can be about creating space to breathe, reset, and enjoy life’s simple moments. Seeing someone relax, switch off from everyday pressures, and genuinely enjoy their surroundings is what it’s all about.

A big thank you to Brooke & Senna at Arabella Acres for providing such a welcoming and peaceful space. The thoughtful touches throughout the stay made it extra special.

Weekends like this are a great reminder of the positive impact that a change of scenery, nature, and meaningful support can have on wellbeing. 🤍

✅ Experience supporting people with behaviours of concern is highly desirable
✅ Ability to remain calm, patient and consistent
✅ Interest in community access, fitness and skill-building activities
✅ Great communication and rapport-building skills

We’re only just getting around to sharing a few photos from the previous weekend.

One of our participants attended the annual Predators Den event with support from our team, enjoying a weekend filled with adventure, teamwork, problem-solving and plenty of laughs.

For us, support is about more than getting from A to B. It’s about helping people access experiences that matter to them, build confidence, develop social connections and create memories that last long after the weekend is over.

These opportunities help build independence, resilience and community participation while doing something they genuinely enjoy.

This is what building capacity looks like. 💛

Connor is beginning his journey in support work with a genuine passion for helping people grow, build confidence, and work through life’s challenges alongside them. He believes there is nothing more rewarding than being part of someone’s journey and supporting them toward a more independent and fulfilling future - and we absolutely love that. 🌿

Outside of work, Connor enjoys fishing, camping, 4WDing, and spending time outdoors trying new things and meeting new people.
