🧫 Culture and sensitivities take the guesswork out of antimicrobial selection. When a pathogenic or dysbiotic organism is identified, this is what tells you which agents will actually work on that patient's organism, and which will not.

πŸ”΄ Resistant agents won't eliminate the bacteria or yeast. Using them delays resolution and exposes the patient to treatment that was never going to succeed.

🌿 If natural agents are chosen, at least two sensitive natural antimicrobials should be used together, administered per the manufacturer's directions, for a minimum of three to four weeks.

πŸ„ Non-Candida yeasts are usually environmental and normally present in very low amounts in stool. Azole antifungals aren't indicated here and would only drive antifungal resistance, so natural antimicrobial sensitivities are provided for these species.

πŸ”Ί When testosterone runs high, male patients may present with polycythaemia, testicular atrophy, elevated blood pressure, suppressed LH and FSH, worsening sleep apnoea, impaired spermatogenesis, and increased irritability. In female patients the picture shifts towards hirsutism, androgenic alopecia, jawline and chest acne, oligomenorrhoea or amenorrhoea, vaginal dryness, cl****al enlargement, and anovulatory subfertility.

πŸ”» When testosterone runs low, male patients often show increased visceral adiposity, reduced bone mineral density, fewer morning erections, erectile dysfunction, reduced muscle mass, joint and muscle pain, gynaecomastia, night sweats, and lower libido. In female patients it more commonly appears as an irregular cycle, poor sleep, reduced muscle mass, thinning hair, dry and brittle skin, low libido, low mood, fatigue, and infertility.

πŸ” Many of these features are easy to attribute to stress, ageing, or lifestyle. Testing places them in context and tells you which direction the imbalance is actually running, so you're treating the driver rather than the presentation.
