Using high-energy games like Exploding Kittens to help participants develop life skills in a fun, low-pressure environment.

While it looks like fun, every game is purposefully chosen to build independence. Key developmental benefits include:

We spent our final day of support walking Kali, trying something new for the last time (fresh juice from Snoogies!), and grabbing a final gelato before this legend moves down to Canberra with their family.

Barbie’s partnership with the Autistic Self Advocacy Network to release their first autistic Barbie is a positive step forward.

Designed alongside autistic advocates, this doll reflects real experiences through sensory supports, AAC communication, and stimming friendly features. Representation shaped by lived experience matters.
