For a long time, I thought being strong meant holding everything together.
Being the one people could rely on.
The one who had the answers.
The one who kept going, even when I was exhausted.
And while there is strength in that...
I've come to realise there's a different kind of strength too.
The strength to slow down.
The strength to soften.
The strength to let yourself be supported.
Because the truth is, many of us are so good at caring for everyone else that we forget we need care too.
We give our energy.
We hold space.
We show up.
But receiving? That's often the hardest part.
Lately, I've been learning that healing doesn't always come from pushing harder.
Sometimes it comes from taking a breath.
Letting your shoulders drop.
And allowing yourself to be held for a change.
So if you've been carrying a lot lately, consider this your gentle reminder:
You don't have to do it all alone 🤍
And if you're feeling called to slow down, reconnect, and give yourself the same care you so freely offer others, I'd love to have you join us for our next Breathwork Journey on June 21.
A space to breathe.
A space to release.
A space to simply be.
