Position Vacant - Cairns
Join our team as a Support Worker
20 hours pw

We are seeking an experienced female support worker to support two participants. One participant will be 7 days a week the other 4 hrs on Sunday.

Monday 12 pm – 2 pm, Tuesday 12 pm – 4 pm, Wednesday 12 pm – 2 pm, Thursday 12 pm – 2 pm, Friday 10.30 am – 12.30 pm, Saturday 8.30 am – 10.30 am, Sunday 8.30 am – 10.30 am & 12 pm – 4 pm
(The participant who requires 7 days support can be flexible with the shift times)

What we are looking for:
• Friendly, Reliable, Patient, shows empathy
• Flexible to work on weekends, public holidays & cover shifts when required
• Who is fine with participant smoking and likes dogs

What you will do:
• Support participants in social & community activities
• Support participants in accessing the community
• Provide 1:1 emotional support & encouragement
• Document shift notes on the shift care app & communicate with the manager
• Support participants in achieving their goals

Documents Required for the position:
• Driver's Licence
• Public Liability - optional
• Motor vehicle Insurance
• NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card
• ABN number – required for paying own tax
• Resume
