True story😊 continuing yoga off the mat😆

One of our dedicated +70yo Yogis, who faithfully attends yoga twice a week, received an emergency call from the Vet.

Her daughter's very large canine was less than impressed about being confined to a crate and was expressing his feelings at full volume with a dramatic howling performance worthy of an opera stage.

When she arrived, the Vet had a simple solution: "Would you mind trying to calm him down please by climbing into the crate with him and comforting him!!"

She squeezed herself into the crate alongside the distressed dog and successfully soothed him with her calm persona, slow breathing & gentle massage.

Her verdict afterwards?

"I never would have been able to do that without yoga!"

So next time you're wondering why we're working on hip openers, deep breathing and flexibility, remember: you never know when you'll be called upon for an emergency canine-crate intervention! 🐕🧘‍♀️😂

Heh Yogis, apologies but there will be NO CHAIR YOGA this Sat as originally scheduled.

Unfortunately my flight from Zurich was cancelled due to the Middle East conflict. I have rebooked on another flight which takes the long way home!!

As an unforgettable Norwegian Cruise with good friends comes to an end, I’m feeling so grateful for the past 12 days which has truly been an amazing, beautiful, spectacular and absolutely magical trip.

From peaceful walks in the snow, sliding on ice and feeling gentle snowflakes on my face, to throwing snowballs, laughing endlessly, seeing the colours of the Northern Lights, meeting incredible people from around the globe, tasting local delicacies, learning about the history of the country, embracing the cold and just enjoying every moment.

What an awesome and relaxing trip it has been so far — one I’ll treasure forever❄️☃️🥂💖
