Independent Support Coordination - NDIS New Applications - Allied Health

How can My DSS Support Coordination help you:

☆ NDIS Support Coordination

We can assist in planning and preparing for your NDIS plan review, negotiate service agreements with local supports, guide you in selecting supports that meet your needs, and resolve complex support issues.

☆ Applying for NDIS

We can guide you through the application process, assist in gathering necessary evidence, suppo

rt you in your First NDIS Planning Meeting, work with you to achieve goals, and provide professional advice through experienced support coordinators.

☆ Psychosocial Recovery Coaching

We can support goal development, create a tailored recovery plan, maintain regular contact with you and your support network, increase awareness of choice and control, help build on strengths, and provide a safe space for learning life skills with a Peer Leader.

☆ Allied Health Services

We can offer services from Occupational Therapists (OT’s), Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists, and Counsellors.

NDIS Update: Funds Will Not Roll Over.
There’s an important change to be aware of.

NDIS funds will no longer roll over into the next plan period.
This means any unused funding may be lost if it’s not used within your current plan timeframe.

Now is a good time to:
• Review how your funding is being used
• Check if your supports are meeting your needs
• Make sure your plan is working for you

NDIS Funding Changes – What You Can Do

With recent changes and funding pressures, many participants are finding their NDIS plans are being reduced or not meeting their needs.

If this is happening to you, you’re not alone.

At My DSS, we support participants by reviewing their current situation, identifying gaps, and helping put forward a case to the NDIA to maintain or improve funding where appropriate.

Bazza has been part of the My DSS family since 2021, and what a journey it has been.

We’ve stood together through some incredibly tough times, including battles with addiction and moments where we almost lost him twice. Seeing how far he has come today is something really special.

This week, Bazza dropped in to visit the team, share his surfing stories, and proudly walked over 300m from the carpark making sure everyone knew about it too!
