✨10 Years 🔐 ✨
10 years ago I said ‘I do’ to this fine man here.
Look, no marriage is perfect - but through it all we still choose each other!
When we said through ‘sickness and in health’ we didn’t know this would be tested on all fronts during my cancer journey. Through richer or poorer, for better or worse etc etc.
Cancer doesnt just affect you as the person with the cancer, it also affects all those around you - especially in my case - my husband.
The devil really did test us, through my cancer, through people, through close family, and we look back at our journey and all we can say is - malo Sisu!
God knows we weren’t His most faithful servants and during the time we were so far away from Him but He never gave up on us.
With a resounding Amen we affirm what was said in Matthew 19:6:
“Therefore they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”
‘Til death do us part’ - we’re just gonna have to ‘deal’ with each other 🤣 jk
