Parents, guardians and carers receiving Family Tax benefit can apply for a $50 Active and Creative Kids voucher twice a year, to help cover the cost of their child's recreational activities. Apply for your vouchers via your Service NSW app or on their website.
These vouchers can be used for swimming, sport, music/dance lessons, or a term booking at Clip N Climb in Gosford, or skateboarding at the Slam Factory in Tuggerah.

Support for eligible families with school-aged children to participate in sport, recreational, creative or cultural activities.

Did you know.... if you are needing additional mental health support that can't be funded by your NDIS plan, you can visit your GP for a mental health plan which helps cover the cost of up to 10 sessions per year with a counsellor or Psychologist under Medicare. You can also visit Medicare Mental Health for access to free resources and guidance on what services are available to you in your area.

Leading Edge Support Coordination is seeking an experienced Level 2 Support Coordinator (sub contractor role) to work with clients at the Northern end of the Central Coast NSW commencing January 2026. I have a small caseload of clients ready to be allocated. You will start with 5hrs per week and increase up to 20-30 hours per week over the next 6 months. We are receiving referrals most weeks.

Applicants MUST live on the Central Coast or lower suburbs of Lake Macquarie (Wyong to Mannering Park). There may be opportunity for you to advance to Level 3 support coordination as business growth continues.

Our support coordinators work remotely from home however there will be some face to face visits required with your clients.

PAY RATE Level 2 COS: $60 per billable hr + superannuation

PAY RATE Level 3 COS: $115 per billable hr + superannuation

You provide your own equipment (laptop, mobile phone) and insurance (Public Liability, Personal Indemnity and Accident insurance- insurance is mandatory and evidence will be requested).

We provide you the software, templates, supervision, and take care of all of the billing, marketing and NDIS auditing so that you can focus on providing good quality services to your allocated clients.

Leading Edge Support Coordination has been registered with NDIS since 2022, to provide Level 2 support coordination and Level 3 Specialist support coordination services to people with disability- helping NDIS participants understand, coordinate and connect to supports and services, using the funding in their NDIS plans. Our clients needs are at the centre of everything that we do.

This is a sub contractor role, therefore you must have an ABN number (or be able to obtain one) and some previous experience in this role.

Your application should demonstrate the following requirements:
· Diploma or higher tertiary qualification in Community services, Social Science, Social work or related.

· Previous support coordination experience, or experience in a similar role connecting clients to support services.

· knowledge of the NDIS framework that governs this role-NDIS Code of Conduct, Practice Standards and NDIS Act 2013

· the ability to interpret NDIS plans, budget a plan, and negotiate service agreements

· the ability to navigate difficult conversations and find solutions for complex situations

· an understanding of mainstream and community services, and the ability to connect participants to a range of NDIS funded and mainstream services in a timely manner.

· Exceptional communication, advocacy and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in using NDIS-related software and Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, One Drive, Share point). Excellent time management and record keeping skills, and the ability to write high quality reports

· The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with stakeholders to facilitate seamless services to participants

Mandatory requirements:

·Valid NDIS screening check
Working with Children Check.
Current driver's licence and willingness to use own or private vehicle (with relevant insurances) for work-related travel.

As we head into the festive season, we want to let our wonderful clients and families know that our service will be closed for two weeks from Saturday 20th December and will reopen on Monday, 5 January.

During this time, our team will be taking a well-earned break to rest and recharge so we can return refreshed and ready to continue supporting you in the new year.
