💙Every time you see a blue tree, remember that someone wants you to know you're not alone, and there's always support out there.

A friend who walks alongside you when times are tough and words don't come easily.

A counsellor who can sit with you and listen. Or a psychologist who helps you untangle what's been building up inside and find your way forward again, one step at a time.

When we talk more openly about mental health, it starts to feel less heavy, less hidden. This helps shift the culture, break down stigma and encourages our loved ones to speak up and reach out before they reach crisis point.💙

A tree at Hands Oval became something more in Tom's eyes, long before anyone else saw it that way.

Meet Tom, 83, from a small local town, the kind of bloke you notice for the quiet way he shows up and contributes, even if he'd never put it that way himself.

Four years ago, a tree at Hands Oval caught Tom's eye. He set out with a vision to paint it blue and never let it go.

Now, that very same tree stands blue exactly where he had always envisioned it, with a little help from close mates along the way. A handcrafted bench has also been added to the space, with support from generous local businesses.

Tom reminds us how a bit of paint, patience and persistence can spark conversations that change how people show up for each other.
