ONE SIDE TREATED.
ONE SIDE UNTOUCHED.

This client has a history of a significant accident and has undergone two shoulder surgeries. Over the years, compensation patterns, protective guarding and chronic muscle tension have developed through the shoulder, upper back and into the neck.

In this photo, I have only worked on one side of the upper body.

Even after a single treatment to one side, you can already see changes in tissue tension, shoulder positioning and overall balance through the upper body.

When the body experiences injury or surgery, it often adapts to protect itself. While these adaptations are helpful in the short term, they can create long term restrictions, tightness and altered movement patterns if left unaddressed.

Remedial massage isn’t just about sore muscles, it’s about helping restore movement, reducing tension and encouraging the body back towards a more balanced state.

Can you spot which side has been treated?

Attracting calm, regulated people often starts with becoming a calm, regulated person yourself.

Your nervous system speaks before words do.
When you feel grounded, safe and connected within yourself, you naturally create an environment others feel comfortable in too.

The energy we carry can influence the people, conversations and relationships we attract.
A regulated nervous system helps us respond instead of react, feel more present in our body, and move through life with greater clarity and ease.

Taking care of your nervous system isn’t selfish, it’s foundational.
For your health, your relationships, your recovery and your overall wellbeing. ✨

LOWER BACK PAIN isn’t always a spine problem.

I often see people blame their spine — when the real issue is a small, deep muscle called the Quadratus Lumborum (QL).

The QL sits between your lower ribs and pelvis and supports you quietly all day long — sitting, standing, bending, walking.

Here’s what often gets overlooked:

When your glutes aren’t supporting you properly, the QL steps in to help.

It’s not meant to carry that load long-term.

So it tightens.
It becomes overworked.
And pain often shows up on one side of the lower back.

You might notice:
• Pain more on one side
• A subtle hip hitch when walking
• Pelvic imbalance
• Difficulty standing tall
• Pain with lifting or long periods of sitting

This pattern usually comes down to muscle imbalance and poor load sharing through the body.

One side of the pelvis lifts,
the spine compensates,
and the QL becomes fatigued and reactive.

The good news?
This is very treatable with the right approach.

At Revibe, we focus on restoring balance, not just chasing pain.

That means:
• Advising on re-activating and strengthening the glute med
• Building core stability so the load is shared properly
• Gentle QL release to calm overworked tissue
• Stretching tight muscle chains

When the right muscles do their job:
the QL can finally relax,
posture improves,
and long-term relief becomes possible.

Sometimes back pain isn’t about damage.

It’s about a body that’s been compensating for too long.

Hamstrings and cupping

Does it work??
YES

Tight hamstrings can contribute to back, hip, and movement restrictions.

✨ Cupping helps by:
• Increasing blood flow
• Releasing fascial tension
• Reducing stiffness
• Improving mobility

Cupping supports the body to release, not force, helping movement feel easier and more natural
