(instragram) After having my two children in 2009 and 2011, I found myself overweight and unhappy with how I looked and generally felt about myself. I set some realistic and achievable goals both for myself and my career that would change my life for

ever! Education is the key in gaining more knowledge to teach and educate my clients! In 2015, I went back to school and became qualified at the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers with Certificate 3 & 4 (in Fitness). In 2015 I started working in the fitness industry as a qualified group fitness instructor teaching Zumba, Bootcamps, Dance, Yoga Stretching, Metafit, MetaPower and Pound classes. I also started coaching clients with one-on-one personal training and 8-week challenges. In 2018 โ€“ 2021 I furthered my knowledge within the specialised area of Sports Nutrition, completing my โ€œCertificate in Nutrition & Dietโ€ in 2018, Advanced Certificate of Nutrition & Health (specialising in Sports & Exercise Nutrition) and
Certificate in Nutrition & Diet for Exercise Professionals in 2020.
certificates were completed through Beck Health and Nutrition. In 2018 I opened my first online Nutrition and Personal Training business called Merriโ€™s Nutrition & Fitness

In 2020 I achieved my ultimate goal of competing in an ICN bikini/bodybuilding show. In 2021 I completed my accreditation in Applied Sports Nutrition through Sports Nutrition Association (SNA). In 2022, I rebranded and relaunched my entire online coaching services, calling it FitBody Coaching.
