For the next 24 hours, we're going pink on our socials in honor of Kumanjai Little Baby.🩷🌸

We do so in solidarity with the family, the Alice Springs community, and all communities who are heartbroken over this loss.

Pink was Kumanjai Little Baby's favourite colour.

We invite you - individuals, organisations, communities - to join us in remembering this beautiful young girl and show support to her family.🩷🌸

Our hearts are breaking for a little Kumanjayi baby girl, taken far too soon.

In honour of her life, and to stand alongside her family and community in this time of deep grief, we are asking those who can to give.

We invite donations to SNAICC – National Voice for our Children, an organisation that supports the safety, wellbeing, and future of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.

This is one small way we can come together, to show love, to stand in solidarity, and to support the ongoing work that protects and uplifts our children and families.

Every contribution, no matter how small, is an act of care.

Please also keep this family and community in your thoughts and prayers. Hold your own loved ones close tonight.

Rest gently, little one.
Forever loved. Never forgotten. πŸ•ŠοΈ

My heart is so full. 🌺

I just want to take a moment to say thank you to every woman who came along to Waterlily Women’s Day 2026 today. Seeing women sit together, yarn together, support each other and lift each other up was truly beautiful.

A big thank you to NT Health for the funding that helped make today possible, and a huge thank you to Jason Hannah from Good Times Palmerston for the amazing food. Everyone loved it and we are so grateful for your generosity.

I also want to give all the glory to God and thank Him for the many blessings in my life. Without Him guiding my steps, days like this would not be possible.

The Waterlily is very special to us. Just like the Waterlily grows through muddy waters and rises to the surface strong and beautiful, women do the same. Many of us have walked through pain, trauma and hardship, but we continue to rise, heal and bloom.

Today was about honouring our grandmothers, supporting one another as women, and creating a stronger future for our daughters.

Thank you again to every woman who stood together today.

When women walk together, healing happens.

🌿 Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation 🌿
Youth Alcohol & Drug Program

We are proud to be delivering our Youth Alcohol & Drug Program for young people, led by Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation.

This program creates a safe, non-judgemental space where young people can come together to learn, yarn, and heal through creativity, and connection.

✨ What makes this program different?
Our sessions are hands-on and story-based, using:
🎨 Painting and creative expression
🎢 Music and rhythm
πŸ—£οΈ Yarning circles
πŸ“– Storytelling and lived experience
And activities.

Rather than lectures or worksheets, we walk alongside young people to explore:
β€’ Alcohol and drug use
β€’ Choices and consequences
β€’ Mental health and wellbeing
β€’ Identity, strength, and resilience
β€’ Connection and hope

This program is trauma-informed, culturally grounded, and youth-led, supporting young people to find their voice, reflect on their journey, and build healthier pathways forward.

🌱 Healing happens when young people feel seen, heard, and valued.

πŸ™ A big thank you to Yvonne Neave for not only making the presentation look amazing, but also for co-facilitating the program alongside me. Your creativity, commitment, and support make such a meaningful difference.

πŸ’› And a heartfelt thank you to the amazing participants who showed up, shared, listened, and gave their time. Your courage, honesty, and presence are what make this work truly powerful.

For bookings, partnerships, or more information, please reach out to Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation.
