Bhramari Pranayama (bee breath)

The rare blood moon is set to cast its reddish glow across the night sky tonight. The first total lunar eclipse in three years.

This stunning celestial event happens when Earth aligns between the Sun and Moon, causing the Moon to pass into Earth's shadow. As sunlight filters through Earth's atmosphere, the Moon transforms into red, orange, and pink shades.

Lunar eclipses are highly charged events and cause you to face truths, uncover your feelings, and make meaningful and long-lasting decisions.

Even if you can’t see an eclipse from your location on Earth, its energy is still there to work with.

Lunar eclipses are often highly emotional periods and trigger endings or breakthroughs. The energetic effect of an eclipse often brings “crisis energy” to a head.

It propels you out of your comfort zones and literally forces you to see life in a new way, which often leads to beginning and ending important chapters of your life within a short amount of time.

The energy of lunar eclipses may inspire sudden decisions: to move in with someone or to get married — or break up. On a societal level, they may bring major news into the public eye, such as a scandal, death, or a shift in the economy.

Nothing changes or grows when you’re comfortable. You have to become uncomfortable to make change happen in your life. And this is seen globally as well.

Blood Moon Eclipses are the most potent kind you can experience, and are a good opportunity to practice the art of surrender. This is not a time to control, but rather to let go and allow Spirit to guide you.

The spiritual meaning of the blood moon is the opening of the path to exploring what is often referred to as your shadow self and shed light on emotions such as rage, shame, and grief including wounds from childhood.

The blood moon as with all full moons is a time for divination. You can work with tarot cards, runes, or other divination tools to gain guidance from the spirits. You can meditate or journal to reflect on your personal growth.

Through personal rituals, you tap into the primal bond with the universe, clearing your path and welcoming change, propel personal and spiritual growth and surrendering the wheel to Spirit.
