Wrapping Up the Year with Love & Gratitude!

Last Friday, we had the pleasure of preparing and serving homemade chicken wraps at Gran’s Table, sharing good food, warm smiles and beautiful moments with our community.

As this was the last Gran’s Table for the year, we’re especially grateful to have been part of such a meaningful initiative.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has contributed, volunteered and supported Gran’s Table throughout the year.

It’s more than just a meal, it’s about kindness, connection and making everyone feel welcome.

Sharing a meal, sharing kindness.

On 12 September, Lida Care was proud to sponsor lunch at Gran’s Table, serving Mujadara(Lebanese lentil rice) with yoghurt sauce, followed by a fresh fruit salad for dessert.

A big thank you to everyone who volunteered and supported us. ❤️

Gran’s Table provides a warm meal and friendly company for those doing it tough or feeling alone. 🍽️

Everyone is welcome every Saturday at 12pm.

A new week, a simple reminder

You shouldn’t have to wait until your NDIS funding is running low to know how your budget is tracking.

Good plan management includes keeping an eye on spending, providing clear statements and helping you understand what’s happening with your funding along the way.

NDIS plan changes are coming from October 2026

From 1 October 2026, some NDIS support budgets will begin to be progressively reset when a participant’s plan is reassessed or a new plan is approved.

The changes relate to social, civic and community participation supports and capacity building daily activities.

Importantly, this does not mean everyone’s funding will change on 1 October. Participants won’t see these changes until their plan is reassessed or renewed, and the changes will not be backdated.

At Lida Care, we’ll continue to keep up with NDIS changes and help our participants understand what they mean for their plan and funding.

We’ll keep sharing important updates as the changes roll out.

NDIS changes are coming

what does this mean for your invoices?

New NDIS laws have recently been passed, and some changes will be introduced gradually over the coming months and years.

One important change for participants and providers is that from December 2026, claims will need to be submitted within 90 days of the support being delivered.

This makes it even more important for providers to send invoices promptly and for participants to keep good records of the supports they receive.

At Lida Care, we’ll continue to keep up with NDIS changes, carefully manage your invoices and help keep you informed when changes may affect your plan-managed funding.

For now, the NDIS has confirmed that participants can continue using their current plans and supports as usual.

We’ll keep sharing important updates as the changes roll out.

It’s okay to ask questions.

At Lida Care, we carefully check invoices before processing them including provider details, support item information, service dates and whether the claim aligns with the participant’s available funding.

If something doesn’t look right, we’ll follow it up rather than simply putting the invoice through.
