Quite often life isn't perfect.
How do you deal with the imperfections of life?

My first post for this page was written in Bali some 2 years ago now. At that time I was on retreat and felt like this could be a perfect life.

Today I am in Melbourne in Stage 4 lockdown, trying to keep COVID19 from destroying my life and thousands of others.

It's funny how life takes twists and turns isn't it!

So will life ever be 'normal' again? Will we be able to travel overseas? How will the coronavirus effect how people see their life in the future?

Am I still living the 'perfect life'?

All I can say is that I am doing the best I can with the restrictions that are in place.

Is it perfect? Is anything EVER perfect? Is it perfect for just now?

My daughter often asks questions like, "where is the best place you have ever visited" or "what is the best meal you have ever eaten".

I find those questions so hard to answer because so many have seemed perfect right then.

Do I want more 'perfect' moments, of course I do!?
