💼 Casual | Opportunity to transition to Part-Time or Full-Time
⏰ Minimum 4 hours per day
Lekota Disability Services is looking for experienced and reliable Support Workers to join our team and provide high-quality, person-centred support to participants with high and complex support needs.
🌟 ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking compassionate, confident and dependable Support Workers who can support participants with high support needs and complex behaviours while promoting their independence, dignity, safety and quality of life.
✅ REQUIREMENTS
✔️ Previous experience supporting people with high and complex needs
✔️ Experience working with challenging or complex behaviours
✔️ Understanding of person-centred care and positive behaviour support
✔️ Current Driver’s Licence
✔️ Willing and confident to drive participants
✔️ Confidence driving a modified van – highly advantageous
✔️ 3 recent healthcare-related certificates
✔️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✔️ Calm, patient and confident when managing complex situations
