When community comes together, great things happen. πŸ’™

Thanks to the generous support of Community Bank Doncaster East and Templestowe Village, Onemda participants are enjoying more opportunities to connect, learn new skills and be active in their local community.

See how this partnership is helping create meaningful experiences for the people we support.

A bank that's really shown up. This time with a cheque for $31,490.

πŸŽ™οΈ What if a simple conversation could build confidence, create connection, and help someone share their story with the world?

That's the idea behind our EOFY fundraising campaign.

We're raising funds to help participants learn podcasting and storytelling skills, giving people with intellectual disability the opportunity to share their experiences, perspectives, and achievements in their own voice.

If you'd like to help make that happen, we'd love your support.

This EOFY, we’re raising funds to support a participant-led podcast project, helping people with intellectual disability build confidence, communication, and digital storytelling skills while sharing their own lived experiences.

Through podcasting, participants will learn new skills, connect with others, and help shape how disability is seen and understood in the community.

If you’d like to support something truly meaningful this EOFY, we’d love you to learn more.

β˜• Today, participants from The Basin campus proudly took part in Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea in collaboration with The Basin Community House.

As part of the ACFE Program, participants helped prepare food for the event and wore their Onemda aprons with pride while showcasing their efforts in the kitchen!

It was wonderful to see staff, participants, families, and the local community come together to support Cancer Council and raise awareness for a great cause.

Global Accessibility Awareness Day.

A reminder that accessibility is about more than ramps and some technology. It’s creating a world where everyone feels included, supported, and able to participate.

We see the impact of accessibility every day through communication supports, inclusive learning environments, technology, and meaningful opportunities that help people with intellectual disability build confidence and connection.

When accessibility improves, opportunities grow for everyone.
