I am heart broken and filled with sadness at the passing of a very dear friend who after a battle with terminal lung cancer chose to bravely take the VAD path. It was not a decision taken lightly and one that was an arduous journey to undertake with so much to go through to get ‘permission'.

These last few weeks I have seen her fading away and on Saturday I very thankfully had the opportunity to spend time with her, sharing memories, saying things we both needed to say, sharing hugs and tears and saying our final goodbyes.

We never know what’s around the corner so please, please reach out to those you care for and show them love.

Hi everyone. I have been MIA for a couple of weeks as life has thrown some curve balls that has meant I have had to step back and take time to be kind to myself. When physical and emotional issues collide there is not much left in the tank for much else. Sometimes knowing when to just be and to stop pushing is what is needed.

Apologies yet again for no posts recently. Last week was an emotional draining week, receiving several pieces of bad news, which did my head in.

Oh my goodness last week was another odd week for me. This weird energy continues to swirl around and I honestly don’t know where my days disappear to. I think my health issues have distorted time for me.lol

Tonight a bit of fun for those of you who are readers…..

I’m definitely a Literary Gremlin, although of late because of my health issues I’m struggling with reading..leaving me very sad. Hopefully when some new meds start to kick in I can resume my favourite activity of reading.

Oh my goodness … it’s Sunday night yet again. My days are all out of whack with this weird energy around. I honestly don’t know how the days and weeks seem to be so distorted lately. All I can say is my intention is to pull some cards for us during this week coming however will make no promise.

I am having a very odd week thus haven’t had a chance to pull any cards for us. Life seems to be very odd and the energy around me is rather wacky to say the least.

What are you grateful for tonight? I’m grateful that after some miserable weather over the last couple of weeks the last two days have been absolutely beautiful. The ground is washed clean, the sky is vivid blue and the world feels refreshed. And finally the humidity has lessened.
