We’re excited to introduce a new CT scanner at our Capital Radiology Boronia Central clinic, supporting a more comfortable experience while delivering high-quality imaging.

This new system supports a broad range of CT services, including image-guided interventional procedures, low-dose CT chest scans for the National Lung Cancer Screening Program. We have also expanded our vascular capabilities, with pulmonary angiograms now available on site.

Meet Prasanna Ratnakanthan, our Carlton site chief and Cardiac Services Manager at Capital Radiology.

We’re excited to introduce a new CT scanner at our Capital Radiology Knox clinic, providing our patients with a more comfortable experience, whilst delivering optimal image quality.

This new CT scanner allows our highly trained radiographers to perform a range of scans, such as Calcium Score CT to assess cardiovascular risk, as well as CT guided interventional procedures for pain management.

We offer a same day, walk-in service for general CT scans. Interventional procedures are performed by our on-site radiologist and can be booked by online at capitalradiology.com.au/request-appointment or by giving us a call on (03) 8203 2100.

Meet Presanna Sujenthiran, our Victorian Ultrasound Manager.

Presanna joined us in 2025 with a strong focus on leadership, patient care and sonographer development. She plays a key role in mentoring teams across Victoria while supporting improvements in clinical standards and patient experience.

Passionate about women’s imaging and obstetric ultrasound, Presanna is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care and helping patients feel comfortable and well informed throughout their experience.

Meet Dr David Wang, one of our Clinical Directors at Capital Radiology (Radiologist, MBBS, FRANZCR).

Dr Wang completed his medical degree at the University of New South Wales and undertook radiology training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, followed by fellowships in diagnostic neuroradiology, nuclear imaging and interventional spine at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Ohio.

Dr Wang has authored and co-authored numerous scientific papers and has a strong interest in general radiology, neuroradiology, and MRI. He is committed to improving patient outcomes through high-quality diagnostic imaging.

We’re proud to have Dr Wang leading our team at Capital Radiology Vermont.
